With a fine, long bone that has been carefully shaped, it is made from the hind leg of 100% Iberian pigs, selected from birth and raised in the wild with a quality diet of pasture, cereal and acorns. A curing period of 34 to 48 months in natural drying sheds guarantees its sensational and intense flavour, as well as its tempting and unmistakable aroma.
When cut, it has a beautiful cherry red colour, unmistakable infiltration, marbling and a characteristic shine in keeping with its exceptional quality.
